OrderView — Privacy Policy

Data stored on your device only

• Watchlists, alerts, drawn lines and chart settings are saved in the app's local storage on your phone.
• If you connect an exchange account (Android app only), your API key and secret key are saved on your phone only. They are never sent to the developer. The app uses them solely to sign requests sent directly from your phone to the exchange (Binance) to read your open orders and your own executed trades (balances are never read).
• The app accepts only keys limited to reading. Keys that can trade or withdraw are refused.
• The key is kept in a separate store that Android backups never copy, encrypted with a key held in the Android Keystore, so it does not leave the device. Your watchlists, drawings, alerts and settings may be included in your own Android backup to your Google account (if you turned device backup on), and in backup files you export yourself; neither ever contains the key.
• Problem reports — the app keeps a short list of its own recent errors on your phone. It is never sent automatically. If you choose Menu → Report a problem, the app builds a text report (app build, phone model and Android version, what you wrote, and those errors — never your API key, orders or alerts) and opens Android's share menu; you decide whether and where to send it.
• Delta alerts — only while you have a Delta alert on, the app asks OrderView's own signal server about once a minute for the latest Delta signals. Everyone receives the same list and your phone checks it against your alerts, so the request carries no account, no identifier and no alert settings; like any web request it shows your IP address, which the server does not store.

Data sent to third parties

• Binance — market data is loaded from Binance's public endpoints, and account data (if you connect a key) from its account endpoints. These requests go directly from your device to Binance and are governed by Binance's privacy policy. Binance can see your IP address, like any website you visit.
• OKX, Bybit, Kraken and Coinbase — only if you add their pairs to a watchlist, open their charts or set alerts on them, market data is loaded from their public endpoints, directly from your device. No account or key is used. Governed by OKX's, Bybit's, Kraken's and Coinbase's privacy policies; like any website, they can see your IP address.
• Telegram (optional, only if you connect your own bot) — the text of each alert that triggers (pair, timeframe, condition and price) is sent from your phone to the Telegram Bot API and delivered to your chat by the bot you created. Your bot token and chat ID stay on your phone, in the store that backups never copy, and are never sent to the developer. Governed by Telegram's privacy policy. Disconnect any time in Alerts → Telegram.
• Hosting — this policy page is served by Railway, which may keep standard server access logs (IP address, time, page requested).

Advertising (Android app)

• The Android app shows banner ads and optional rewarded video ads served by Google AdMob.
• AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and how you interact with ads, to show, measure and limit ads and to prevent fraud. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
• In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and wherever the law requires it, you are asked for consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice any time with Menu → Ad privacy options.
• You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Privacy → Ads).
• Premium time and daily points are counted on your device only.

Subscription

The optional Premium subscription is sold and billed by Google Play. The developer never receives your payment details; the app only asks Google Play whether your subscription is active. Manage or cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.

Apart from AdMob, OrderView contains no analytics or tracking SDKs, and the developer does not sell or share data.

Permissions

The Android app requests Internet access; notifications, to deliver your price and indicator alerts; a foreground service, wake lock and start-at-boot, so alerts keep being checked while the app is closed (only while you have active alerts, shown by an ongoing "Watching alerts" notification); and, through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, access to the advertising ID. Price and indicator checks use public market data only and send nothing about you.

Deleting your data

Use Menu → Reset all local data, Link → Disconnect, or uninstall the app. Because nothing is stored by the developer, there is nothing further to delete on our side. To revoke a key completely, also delete it in your exchange account.

Children

OrderView is not directed at children under 18.
